Siegler Furnace Manual Or AnyDoes anybody have a manual or any updates on how I can hook it up I also need an oil tank but cannot find any information on the net. Someone told me that you can add a small oil tank above it so the oil will be gravity fed. I am hoping that I will not need to purchase one of those big tanks and install high in the air Any information would be greatly appreciated. You will need to burn number 1 fuel oil or kerosene or if you can get it, waste jet fuel. Do not try to use number 2 oil oil as it will be difficult to light and also burn poorly making smoke and soot. The bottom of the tank should be at least six inches above the maximum level on the side of the constant level oil control to ensure proper fuel flow. When lighting, drop a lighted paper match in the pot and then turn on the oil. A week ago it got into single digits and my oil just gelled up. Model DKS-65-LP. I have talked to and googled dearborn, or whats left of them. I would like to know where I can get a manual or better yet a parts manual. ![]() Ive not been using the heater for a while, and last few weeks, then I tried to turn on the heater, only the pilot light is lit up and seems like there is no gas from the valve to the main burner tubing to the orifices. Ive looked at replacing the Honeywell valve, but it is expensive and seems to be a challenge to replace and maybe dangerous too if Im not careful. So, I just want to explore and see if there is anything else that I could check before even thinking about replacing this valve.
